How to install a timing belt kit in 12 easy steps\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

STEP 1.<\/b> Drain and clean the cooling circuit.<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP 2. <\/b>Disconnect the negative battery cable, as well as the fuel pipes and the intake pipe.<\/span><\/p>\n

When necessary, remove any accessories such as the power steering pump, alternator or air compressor by powering to gain access to the timing belt.<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP 11. <\/b>Reinstall the tensioner. Always respecting the vehicle manufacturer’s assembly instructions for each type of roller.<\/span><\/p>\n

Make sure there is no oil leak in the area near the belt.<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP 12. <\/b>Place the new belt.<\/span><\/p>\n

After installation, always take a few extra minutes to <\/span>check the proper functioning of the pump and bearings<\/b> and make any necessary adjustments. One of the most important things is to correctly adjust the tension, if it is too tense or not enough the belt could be quickly broken.<\/span><\/p>\n

Refill the cooling system with quality coolant <\/b>to ensure the service life and performance of both the water pump and the cooling circuit in general. If you \u2018run dry\u2019 the cooling system, this could cause thermal shock and irreversible damage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dolz<\/span><\/a> recommends the use of coolants with<\/span> liquid organic additives and a minimum concentration of 40% ethylene glycol.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
