As it does? Once the engine has reached a certain temperature and its thermal state needs to be checked, <\/span>this tensioner activates and drives the water pump<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The drive belt tensioner powers the crankshaft pulley to the water pump pulley, which is engaged and disengaged by an electric actuator.<\/span><\/p>\n

All this innovative system results in less mechanical loss during the disconnection phase of the water pump.<\/span><\/p>\n
