In this post, we explore TecAlliance to help you navigate through their portal and give you hints on how to use it.

TecAlliance is a platform and digital community dedicated to promoting innovation and collaboration in the aftermarket industry. It is a payment tool, widely regarded as one of the world’s most comprehensive spare parts catalog.

One of the features of this platform for dealers and workshop owners is the online TecDoc Catalogue, which contains updated and detailed information about spare parts, releasing new catalog versions about every two weeks. It offers the opportunity to send comments and suggestions to its creators, thus building a strong community that helps to keep the platform up-to-date and one hundred percent reliable.

To ensure the quality of the data in the TecDoc Catalog, TecAlliance checks regularly on product and application data supplied by part manufacturers. Suppliers that meet these high-standard demands are awarded the distinction of “TecAlliance Certified Data Supplier”, and so is the case of Industrias Dolz.

How to use it TecAlliance?

Finding a Dolz product in the TecDoc catalogue of TecAlliance is easy, although information access will depend on the type of account that you purchase.  After obtaining your account and login-in on the site, you will find the release notes that will show the main information about the latest versions of the catalog.  As we said before, it is updated every two weeks, so there’s always something new.  They also offer information about the next webinars or events available globally in different languages, as well as new features and fixes.  Be sure to select the language of your interest, as this information might be different for each region.

In the starting page you can find several ways to search for products:

• Using the Manual Search, you can search using several parameters, such as type of vehicle, model, manufacturer, year of the model, or type of fuel.
• You can also introduce the specific vehicle identification to see all the available products for that model.
• If you have searched the catalog before, you can insert the product number in the upper search bar and go directly to a product you already know.
• Another type of search you can do is by the name of the brand of your trust, or by product group. In this case we are going to search the Dolz products to see what we can find.
