DOLZ launches its own switchable water pump A255V with proprietary patent and SHC technology: Switchable Hydraulic Control
Industrias Dolz presents its latest in-house development: the A255V switchable pump (OE 04L121011), equipped with the innovative SHC (Switchable Hydraulic Control) technology and protected by a global DOLZ-exclusive patent.
This new variable pump is designed to meet the demands of modern engines, intelligently managing engine cooling through a switchable hydraulic control system. Thanks to SHC technology, thermal efficiency is optimized, reducing fuel consumption and harmful emissions.
The A255V reference covers a wide range of VAG Group vehicles, with key applications in brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, and Skoda, equipped with 1.6 and 2.0 TDi engines.
After successfully passing stringent performance, sealing, and durability tests at our facilities, the pump has also been tested under real-world driving conditions by installing the A255V in compatible vehicles.
Following several months of intensive use, results have been outstanding, confirming not only the reliability of the design but also its excellent performance in real driving scenarios. This additional validation phase further strengthens market confidence in the quality of the company’s proprietary developments.
